Vendor Development Executive

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Vendor Development Executive (Fresher) to join our procurement team in the automation sector. You will assist in identifying and developing vendors, following up for deliveries, estimating and negotiating costs, and ensuring timely procurement of parts and materials critical to automation projects. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in identifying and onboarding new vendors for components, parts, and services related to automation projects.

• Maintain regular follow-up with existing vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.

• Support the procurement team in floating inquiries, collecting quotations, and evaluating vendor responses.

• Participate in cost estimation and price comparison to support negotiation strategies.

• Assist in negotiating pricing, delivery terms, and payment conditions with vendors under the guidance of senior team members.

• Track and monitor purchase orders to ensure timely dispatch and delivery.

• Coordinate with the store and project teams to verify the receipt and quality of delivered items.

• Maintain vendor records, documentation, and performance data.

• Support in developing long-term vendor relationships and improving vendor performance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, Production, Accounts) for smooth procurement operations.

Key Skills Required:

• Good communication and negotiation skills

• Basic knowledge of procurement and supply chain functions

• Strong follow-up and coordination ability

• MS Office proficiency (especially Excel and Word)

• Understanding of cost estimation and basic commercial terms

• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines

• Willingness to learn and grow in a technical, fast-paced environment
