Video Editor

We are looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our online fashion brand. You will be responsible for daily editing and posting of short-form and engaging video content across Instagram and Facebook. The ideal candidate is highly proficient on Mac with Final Cut Pro and has a strong understanding of fashion content, trends, and platform-specific editing styles (Reels, Stories, Feed videos, etc.).

Key Responsibilities

• Edit daily fashion videos, product showcases, lookbooks, styling tips, behind-the-scenes, and promotional content using Final Cut Pro on Mac
• Create platform optimised content for Instagram (Reels, Stories, Feed) and Facebook, including vertical (9:16), square, and other required formats
• Apply trendy transitions, text overlays, music, sound effects, color grading, and motion graphics that align with current fashion aesthetics
• Ensure consistent brand look, feel, color palette, and tone across all videos
• Resize, crop, and adapt videos for different social media formats and aspect ratios
• Post or schedule approved content on Instagram and Facebook as per the content calendar
• Collaborate with the content/creative team to understand briefs, product highlights, and campaign goals
• Stay updated with Instagram and Facebook algorithm trends, viral editing styles, audio trends, and fashion content best practices
• Manage video assets, maintain organized project files, and meet daily/weekly deadlines
• Basic color correction, audio cleanup, and export optimization for social media

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in video editing, preferably for fashion, lifestyle, e-commerce, or social media brands
• Expert-level proficiency in Final Cut Pro on Mac
• Strong understanding of Instagram Reels and Facebook video best practices (hooks, pacing, captions, CTAs, music trends)
• Ability to edit fast-paced, high-volume daily content while maintaining quality
• Good eye for fashion aesthetics, styling, color, and visual storytelling
• Knowledge of basic graphic design elements (text, stickers, effects) suitable for social media
• Familiarity with Instagram and Facebook posting tools/scheduling (or willingness to learn quickly)
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to work independently under deadlines
• Reliable internet connection and a Mac setup suitable for video editing

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Experience with CapCut, Premiere Pro, or other editing tools (in addition to Final Cut Pro)
• Basic knowledge of After Effects or motion graphics
• Understanding of fashion trends, e-commerce, and influencer-style content
• Experience creating content for Instagram Shopping or Facebook ads
• Portfolio showcasing fashion, beauty, or lifestyle social media videos
