Job Description
Operate VMC (Vertical Machining Center) machines safely and efficiently.
Read and understand engineering drawings and work instructions.
Perform machine setting, tool loading and tool offset adjustments.
Load and unload components properly.
Check component dimensions using measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer and Height Gauge.
Monitor machining operations and maintain required quality standards.
Identify tool wear, machine abnormalities and quality issues.
Maintain production targets and minimize rejection/rework.
