About the job:

We are looking for a responsible, disciplined, and empathetic college warden to oversee the day-to-day management of our student residence and ensure a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment. The ideal candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills, strong administrative abilities, and a student-first mindset. As a College Warden, you will be responsible for maintaining discipline, resolving student concerns, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring the smooth functioning of hostel operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise the day-to-day operations of the hostel/residential facility.

2. Ensure the safety, security, and well-being of all students residing in the hostel.

3. Maintain discipline and enforce hostel rules and regulations.

4. Act as the primary point of contact for students regarding accommodation-related concerns.

5. Handle student grievances and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.

6. Conduct regular inspections of hostel rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance.

7. Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, security, and other support teams for smooth hostel operations.

8. Maintain accurate records of student occupancy, attendance, room allotments, and visitor logs.

9. Monitor student attendance, curfew compliance, and hostel entry/exit records.

10. Assist with student onboarding, room allocation, and hostel orientation.

11. Respond promptly to emergencies and ensure appropriate action is taken when required.

12. Organize activities and initiatives that promote a positive and inclusive hostel environment.

13. Prepare regular reports on hostel operations and escalate issues to the management when necessary.

14. Ensure compliance with institutional policies and safety guidelines.
