Warehouse Executive

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Warehouse Executive is responsible for efficient management of materials, stock accuracy, dispatch coordination, and warehouse operations. The role requires strict discipline, accountability, and coordination with site teams to ensure smooth execution of projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Inventory & Stock Management

• Maintain accurate records of all inward and outward materials
• Ensure real-time updating of stock registers (manual or Excel)
• Monitor stock levels and inform management for replenishment
• Conduct regular stock verification and reconciliation

2. Material Inward Handling

• Receive materials from suppliers and verify quantity & quality
• Cross-check invoices, delivery challans, and purchase orders
• Record all inward entries immediately in the system/register
• Ensure proper storage to avoid damage or moisture impact

3. Material Dispatch & Coordination

• Prepare materials for dispatch to project sites
• Ensure materials are issued only with proper approval
• Generate and maintain Gate Pass & Delivery Challan records
• Coordinate with transporters, drivers, and site supervisors
• Track delivery status and confirm material receipt at site

4. Warehouse Operations & Safety

• Maintain proper stacking, labeling, and categorization of materials
• Ensure cleanliness and safety within the warehouse
• Prevent material damage, theft, or wastage
• Follow safety standards, especially for cement-based and textured materials

5. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain records of stock, dispatch, invoices, and approvals
• Submit daily reports to management
• Maintain proper filing system for audit and verification
• Report discrepancies, shortages, or damages immediately

6. Accountability & Compliance

• Responsible for stock accuracy and material handling
• Ensure no unauthorized material movement
• Follow company SOP, discipline, and confidentiality policies
• Any negligence or stock loss will be subject to action

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Basic knowledge of Excel / stock register maintenance
• Understanding of construction materials (preferred)
• Good coordination and communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle physical warehouse operations

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum: 10th / 12th Pass
• Experience in warehouse / construction material handling preferred
• Freshers with discipline and willingness to learn can be considered
