Welder / Fitter

Job Description: Qualified Welder (TIG / MIG / SMAW / CO2)

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and qualified Welder / Fabricator to join our production team. The ideal candidate must hold an ITI or Diploma in Welding/Fitter trade and possess proven experience in executing TIG, MIG, MMA / Arc Welding, CNC Welding,CO2 and Shielded Arc Welding on structural components, pipes, and sheet metal.

Key Responsibilities :

• Welding Operations: Perform high-quality welding processes including TIG (Argon), MIG, MMA (Manual Metal Arc / Stick Welding), and Shielded Welding according to technical drawings and engineering guidelines.
• Blueprint Reading: Read, interpret, and work according to engineering drawings, welding symbols, and job specifications.
• Material Preparation: Cut, grind, align, tack-weld, and prepare metal joints (Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Aluminum) prior to final welding.
• Quality & Inspection: Inspect finished welds for defects, porosity, cracks, or distortion to ensure structural integrity and code compliance.
• Equipment Maintenance: Set up, calibrate, and maintain welding machines, gas cylinders, regulators, torches, and protective shielding equipment safely.
• Workplace Safety: Adhere strictly to industrial safety guidelines, wear appropriate PPE (Welding Helmet, Leather Gloves, Apron, Safety Shoes), and maintain a clean shop-floor environment.
