MES Manager Job Title – MES Manager for High Tech, Industry Consulting, Global Network Management Level: Management Consulting Manager Location: Bangalore, Gurgaon, Hyderabad and Mumbai Must have skills: Strong expertise including at least 9-15 years of experience in MES platforms relevant to Hi-tech/semiconductor manufacturing (e.g. Critical Manufacturing, Siemens Opcenter, SAP DMC, Siview, SmartFactory Promis) Good to have skills: Exposure to Industry 4.0 technologies, IIoT, advanced analytics, and smart manufacturing concepts. Experience: A minimum of 9 to 15 years of experience in MES is required, including integration experience with ERP and PLM Educational Qualification: B. Tech/BE | MBA from Tier 1 or 2 business school is required Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and strategic MES Manager with 9 to 15 years of experience in design, deployment, and optimization of MES systems in the High-Tech manufacturing sector. The role requires deep understanding of MES integration with ERP and PLM systems, combined with proven leadership capabilities. As a manager, you will oversee project delivery, manage consulting teams, engage with client stakeholders, and contribute to business development efforts. Roles & Responsibilities: - - - - As a part of the Manufacturing Reinvention team, you will be expected to support MES platforms-driven business design and assessment, including value assessment, business case creation, and business process re-engineering Provide solutions for complex client problems across the MES landscape throughout the project lifecycle, providing subject matter expertise with a strong strategic awareness of the MES market and associated technologies. Work as a lead MES Solution Architect and support solutions for end-to-end request for proposal requests. Assist with solutions for client challenges in the MES landscape, providing expert insight throughout the project lifecycle - Serve as a MES SME along with PLM experience and assist with solutions for end-to end requests for proposal requests - - - - - Engage with clients to understand their requirements and scope, discover and define solutions, articulate business benefits and use cases, and develop a roadmap to achieve their objectives Develop innovative solution designs that leverage our extensive service offerings Support our business development initiatives, collaborating with our teams in proposal generation, shaping the solution plan, and defining the delivery approach for MES transformations Oversee integration of SAP ERP with MES platforms and assist in developing proof of concepts as required. Stay updated with the latest MES advancements and industry’s best practices in shop floor management. Professional & Technical Skills: - - - - - - - - Must have skills: Experienced MES consultant with strong functional and technical knowledge with a specialized focus on MES-ERP and PLM integrations. Prior experience of working on 4-5 large scale transformation and implementation delivery programs for global clients. Exposure to high tech, semi-conductors, telecom, IT/ITES, technology verticals is mandatory. Proven success in client-facing roles for 5-6 engagements. Must have worked as an end-to-end MES Solution / Architect for at least 4-5 Request for Proposal (RFP) requests Advise clients on the MES and PLM processes based on leading industry practices. Skilled in configuration, process design, and integration between ERP and MES system In-depth knowledge of SAP MES and shop floor processes including Goods movement, Material’s management, Workforce management, Resource management. - Coordinate and mentor technical teams, providing guidance and resolving escalated issues. -- - Provide expert consultation during MES landscape assessments and future-state architecture design. Ensure all client sales activities are documented and tracked in the system.
