Analyst - Project Controlling

You'll play a key role in managing the controlling and financial reporting of projects, ensuring compliance with internal control rules and Company guidelines. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Finance Project Managers, Project Managers, and expert functions like Tax and Customs), support the implementation of financial strategies, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of project accounting and financial analysis, but also contribute to optimizing financial performance and mitigating risks.

We’ll look to you for:

• Contributing effectively to project initial setup and ensuring accurate financial data collection.

• Supporting the implementation of global financial strategies established during the tender stage.

• Monitoring and controlling cost movements monthly, analyzing variances, and presenting financial data transparently.

• Preparing and validating the Estimate at Completion (EAC) during project reviews.

• Providing insight and accuracy to project financial information, including forecasts, revenue, cash flow, and costs.

• Analyzing industrial costs to provide insights on operational performance.

• Ensuring compliance with local regulations, particularly for tax and statutory accounts.

• Collaborating with Project Managers on risks, opportunities, and financial decision-making.

• Supporting the proper financial closure of projects, including bond collection and checklist fulfillment.

• Proposing action plans to improve contract margins and cash profiles while mitigating identified risks.

• MBA in Finance, CA, or CMA (or equivalent qualification).

• 5-8 years of relevant finance experience, with a comprehensive understanding of IFRS 15 principles.

• Experience in long-term project accounting is a plus.

• Strong analytical and presentation skills.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

• Proficiency in ERP systems, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Curiosity and a continuous learning mindset.

• Ability to multitask, synthesize complexity into simplicity, and solve problems effectively.

• Strong interpersonal skills, including teamwork, integrity, and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.

• A "can-do" attitude and adaptability to changing circumstances.
