Your Role

In Systems Management at Kyndryl, you will be critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our customers’ IT infrastructure. You'll be the mastermind behind maintaining and optimizing their systems, ensuring they're always running at peak performance. 

Not only will you be responsible for managing and maintaining the IT infrastructure, but you'll also have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions that will shape the future of the industry. You'll be at the forefront of new service preparation and change management processes, constantly learning and growing your technical expertise to ensure the best outcomes for our customers.

Your technical prowess will be put to the test as you troubleshoot critical customer situations and provide timely solutions to keep their systems secure, reliable, and efficient. You'll be the go-to expert for sizing and optimizing systems, ensuring our customers' business performance is always world-class.

What you will do:

• Installation, configuration, and administration of SAP systems (ECC, BW, CRM, SRM, Solution Manager, S/4HANA).
• Perform SAP system refreshes, client copies, kernel upgrades, and support package implementations.
• Manage SAP HANA and database administration activities (Oracle, HANA, SQL Server, DB2).
• Monitor system performance and optimize SAP landscapes for availability and efficiency.
• Handle SAP transports, change management, and system maintenance activities.
• Perform SAP patching, upgrades, migrations, and S/4HANA conversion support.
• Administer SAP Web Dispatcher, SAP Router, SSL certificates, and security configurations.
• Work on High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), backup, and recovery solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex SAP BASIS issues and provide root cause analysis.
• Manage user administration, authorizations, and audit compliance activities.
• Coordinate with functional, infrastructure, and database teams for project and support activities.
• Drive automation initiatives using scripts and SAP tools to improve operational efficiency.
• Support cloud environments including SAP RISE, Azure, AWS, and GCP.

Required Skills:

• Strong expertise in SAP BASIS administration and landscape management.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA Database Administration.
• Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager, Focused Run, and monitoring tools.
• Hands-on experience with system upgrades, migrations, and homogeneous/heterogeneous system copies.
• Expertise in transport management, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
• Knowledge of SAP security, SSL certificates, SSO, and Web Dispatcher administration.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and SAP RISE environments.
• Scripting knowledge (Shell, PowerShell, Python) is an added advantage.
• 8+ years of experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• SAP BASIS/HANA certification preferred.
• Experience working in 24x7 production support environments.
• Exposure to ITIL processes and service management tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to mentor junior team members and lead critical activities.
• Experience handling customer interactions and major incident management.
