Assistant Manager_SALT ERP

The KPMG Global Services (KGS) Tax is a diverse team spread across multiple cities in India. We provide tax and compliance services to KPMG Firms globally. Roles & responsibilities

—This hands-on role expects the candidate to apply functional and technical knowledge of SAP/Oracle and third party tax engines like Onesource/Vertex
—Establish and maintain relationships with business leaders. Use deep business knowledge to drive engagement on major tax integration projects
—Gather business requirements, lead analysis and drive high level E2E design
—Drive configuration and development activities to meet business requirements through a combination of internal and external teams
—Manage external software vendors and System Integrators on project implementation, ensuring adherence to established SLA’s
—Take a domain lead role on IT projects to ensure that all business stakeholders are included and ensure they receive sufficient and timely communications
—Provide leadership to team and integrate technical expertise and business understanding to create superior solutions for the company and customers. Consults with team members and other organizations, customer and vendors on complex issues. Mentors others in the team on process/technical issues.
—Uses formal system implementation methodologies during project preparation, requirements gathering, design, build/test and deployment
—Experience in handling support incidents, escalations and client management would be an added advantage

Educational qualifications

•B Tech / MCA / MBA 
•

Work experience

•5-12 years of Indirect tax

 

Mandatory technical& Functional skills
•Strong experience in SAP or Oracle ERP with integration to any of the tax engine like Onesource or Vertex
•Atleast one end to end implementation
 

Preferred technical & functional skills

•Preferred Onesource /Vertex certification.
•Good knowledge on cross module integration and interfaces with non-ERP systems.
•Knowledge of Indirect taxes for various geographies
