Requirements
What You'll Do
- Build APIs and microservices that power a hyperlocal platform used by millions of users.
- Work with real-time data, optimize queries, and improve system performance.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to build and ship features at startup speed.
- Learn and work with infrastructure, distributed systems, databases, and performance optimization.
- Take ownership of your code throughout the development
Benefits
What We're Looking For
- Strong programming skills in Python, Node.js, Go, or Java.
- Understanding of REST APIs and basic database concepts, including SQL/NoSQL.
- Experience building projects outside of academic coursework.
- GitHub repositories, side projects, or other hands-on development experience are highly valued.
- Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity about how backend systems scale.
- Willingness to ask questions, experiment, learn from failures, and continuously improve.
