OMNIUM services- Consultant, FUND admin, HFS

The delivery of products and services to this client base is supported through a network of offices around the globe.

Role

Employee would be responsible for working with investment managers and in-house technology partners, operational areas, management and product development during the implementation process of onboarding a new Hedge Fund Services client. The Client Implementation function is responsible for onboarding third party clients onto the HFS platform and converting data sets from existing fund administrators or clients.

Major Duties

  • Design/Write complex VBA scripts as per the business requirement.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to VBA coding and provide timely solutions to the business.
  • Design/write complex python programming using OOP concepts, data structure and algorithms
  • Should be able to debug and optimize the code
  • main point of contact with external investment managers and in-house technology partners, operational areas, management and product development during the implementation process.
  • Able to analyze and create Xceptor reports for reconciliation
  • Understand the output requirement and build Xceptor report accordingly. Also, able to build complex Xceptor reports with appropriate data analysis
  • Troubleshoot and fix the Xceptor reports  within the given timelines.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously from beginning to end.
  • Facilitate and ensure structure for weekly client meetings including producing agendas and document and distribute takeaways.
  • Coordinate and perform system set-up and testing: complete personal setup responsibilities and confirm all groups have completed their setup responsibilities.
  • Interface with internal and external IT to ensure external IT setup is completed timely and within the constraints of the internal control framework.
  • Identify and communicate bespoke client requests (for reporting and other IT builds) according to established guidelines.
  • Ensure all necessary implementation tracking documents are initiated and maintained (client matrix, subway map, etc.).
  • Follow-up with Shared Services to update the tracking documents. This includes ensuring that the subway map is properly updated/maintained by applicable members of the Virtual Team and all escalations are identified and communicated to management.
  • Carries out complex activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact.
  • Able to serve as a key subject matter expert and mentor to other more junior level employees.
  • Drives the engagement of other partners as appropriate to solve inquiries/issues of different stake holders
  • Ability to handle several tasks and prioritize work based on deadlines
  • Results oriented self-starter who can lead efforts with little or high-level direction

  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of Xceptor application
  • Strong subject matter expertise/ knowledge of NT business

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis Information Technology, Master degree a plus
  • Around 5-7 years of work experience related to Change Management Projects,
  • Experience with Hedge Funds, Investment Management and/or Financial Services a plus
  • Experience in hedge fund services and transfer agency
