Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. The role requires working closely with different teams to ensure that the software meets specific business requirements. The engineer applies modern development frameworks and follows agile methodologies to build scalable and efficient solutions. Collaboration and continuous enhancement of software components are key aspects of the daily routine, ensuring that the delivered products align with evolving business needs and maintain high performance standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements within the team.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure alignment and timely delivery of project goals.
- Lead and manage end-to-end Salesforce project team.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
- Ensure the Salesforce system aligns with business processes and collaborate with stakeholders to continually improve and optimize the system.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including - design specifications, deployment guides, and system support guides.
- Oversee the implementation of SFDC from an architectural perspective.
- Architect Solutions that are scalable, secure & sustainable.
- Work proactively to remove technical debt and security vulnerabilities.
- Design the overall architecture of the Salesforce implementation, including data models, integration patterns, and security models.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to development teams.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Ensure the Salesforce implementation is scalable and can handle large data volumes.

Preferred skills and qualifications
- A minimum of five years of experience in a Senior Salesforce Developer - - or Architect role
- A minimum of three years of experience in a solutioning salesforce service / sales cloud
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, services, and security model.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git and continuous integration.
- Familiarity with security standards such as TLS, SSL, data encryption preferred.
- Deep technical understanding of Salesforce is a must.
- Hands-on knowledge of data integration tools, such as Informatica, Salesforce Connect, etc, and experience integrating Salesforce with data sources and enterprise systems.
- Ability to tailor communication to multiple audiences at all levels.
- Ability to demonstrate concepts visually and in writing in a way that - enables stakeholders to decide with confidence.
- Excellent ability to coach, motivate and direct work tasks to a multi-disciplinary team of Salesforce professionals.
- Experience with Salesforce.com Governor limits, Lightning UI, Apex, and performance optimization.
- Strong experience with version-controlled environments/interfaces.
- Thorough knowledge of Salesforce and well versed in configuration, customization, and integration.
- Experience/Strong Knowledge working on Sales & Service Cloud.
- A good grasp of Agile methodologies and DevOps principles
- Salesforce Architect certifications are highly desirable.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Salesforce Development.
- Experience with Apex programming and Visualforce page development.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce Lightning components and Salesforce platform capabilities.
- Familiarity with integration techniques using REST and SOAP APIs within Salesforce.
- Understanding of version control systems and continuous integration processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize Salesforce applications for performance and scalability.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Salesforce Development.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
