Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and analytical professional to join our team as an Business Consultant / Analyst. This role is primarily focused on understanding customer requirements, identifying business needs, and effectively positioning the company’s solutions to address those needs.

We are seeking a motivated consultant to join our Supply Chain Consulting practice. In this role, you will build innovative technical solutions for complex supply chain challenges while maintaining and optimizing clients’ existing technology infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will work closely with customers and internal cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze data, develop business insights, and support solution presentations and consulting discussions. This position requires a strong combination of analytical capability, business understanding, technical proficiency, and communication skills. The role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to customer success, solution consulting, and digital transformation initiatives.

 

   

 

 

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Requirement Understanding: Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to gather, understand, and document business requirements, bottlenecks, and expected outcomes.
• Solution Pitching & Alignment: Support the positioning and pitching of company solutions by aligning customer needs with relevant products, services, or analytical approaches.
• Business & Data Analysis: Analyze business data using SQL, Excel, Power BI, and other tools to generate insights that support customer discussions and decision-making.
• Solution Development: Design and build the solution as per the business requirements.
• Dashboarding & Reporting: Develop reports, dashboards, and visual presentations that clearly communicate trends, findings, and recommendations to business stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Communication: Present insights, recommendations, and solution concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with business, delivery, consulting, and technical teams to ensure proposed solutions are practical, relevant, and aligned with customer expectations.
• Process & Delivery Support: Track requirements, tasks, and project progress using Azure DevOps while supporting Agile ways of working.
• Documentation & Analysis Support: Prepare business documentation, requirement summaries, meeting notes, presentation materials, and solution support artifacts.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging tools, industry practices, analytics capabilities, and AI-driven technologies that can strengthen solutioning and customer engagement.

 

   

 

 

Required / Mandatory Skills

 

Technical & Analytical Skills

• Strong working knowledge of SQL for querying, analyzing, and validating data
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau
• Strong data handling and data manipulation capabilities
• Working knowledge of Python or any other coding/programming language for analytical or automation support
• Understanding of Azure DevOps for task tracking, collaboration, and workflow management
• Knowledge of Agile methodology and experience working in Agile environments
• Skilled in utilizing advanced AI tools and Agentic systems for data-driven problem solving

 

 

   Business & Communication Skills

• Strong ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into actionable business or solution needs
• Good communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas, findings, and recommendations
• Ability to support client-facing discussions, solution walkthroughs, and business presentations
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills

 

   

 

 

Good to Have Skills

• Proficient in creating impactful presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint
• Experience supporting solution consulting, pre-sales, business analysis, or client engagement activities
• Awareness of business process improvement and digital transformation initiatives
• Ability to quickly learn domain-specific business workflows and customer contexts

 

   

 

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field

 

Experience Range

• 3+ years of relevant experience in business analysis, solution consulting, pre-sales support, data analysis reporting, or a related role
