Summary:
As a Data Migration Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the entire data migration process from initial planning through to successful execution. This role requires coordinating multiple teams to ensure that data is transferred accurately and completely, while managing potential risks and implementing controls to maintain data integrity. The position demands continuous communication and collaboration with various stakeholders to facilitate a seamless transition to the target system, ensuring that all aspects of the migration are aligned with project goals and timelines.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize data migration processes and improve efficiency.
- Monitor progress and quality of data migration activities, ensuring adherence to established standards and timelines.
- Mentor and support junior team members to enhance their skills and contribute effectively to the project.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Experience with data integration and transformation techniques within large-scale data environments.
- Strong knowledge of data governance and quality assurance practices to maintain data accuracy during migration.
- Ability to design and implement migration controls and risk mitigation strategies.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and scalable data processing frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address complex data migration challenges.

- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- This position is based at our BDC11 - SEZ office.
