Position Summary:

 

We are seeking an Executive Director – Cloud Architecture, who will also serve as the Cloud Leader for Oceania and Japan/ASEAN/Korea across Financial Services and Commercial sectors. This role is accountable for defining enterprise-scale cloud architecture strategy, setting architecture standards, and providing deep technical leadership for complex, large-scale cloud transformation programs. In addition, the role carries responsibility for shaping cloud strategy, solutions, and growth across regions.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Cloud Architecture Leadership:

• Define and own enterprise cloud architecture strategy across Azure and hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
• Establish and govern reference architectures and standards.
• Act as the senior architecture authority for large-scale transformations.

 

Architecture Standards & Enablement:

• Drive reusable architecture patterns and frameworks.
• Promote automation-first design including infrastructure as code.
• Collaborate with Microsoft on Azure-aligned architecture patterns.

 

Regional Cloud Leadership:

• Lead Cloud strategy across Oceania and Japan/ASEAN/Korea.
• Support strategic pursuits and client engagements.
• Act as a senior advisor to clients on transformation roadmaps.

 

Client Engagement:

• Engage with CXOs and senior stakeholders.
• Translate business strategies into scalable cloud architectures.

 

Delivery Excellence:

• Establish governance models and decision frameworks.
• Ensure architectural consistency across engagements.

 

Talent & Capability Building:

• Build and mentor cloud architecture teams.
• Define capability standards and learning pathways.

 

 

Analytical / Decision Making Responsibilities:

 

• Work across EY GDS and member firms to solve client challenges.
• Provide solution options and guide decision-making.

 

 

Education & Experience:

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 20+ years of experience in cloud architecture or consulting.

 

 

Skills & Knowledge:

 

• Expertise in Azure architecture (preferred), with exposure to AWS/GCP.
• Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills.
