Electrical Designer Level II

Primary Objective:
Execution of Electrical design, drafting and 3D modelling tasks relating to Oil & Gas, Refinery, LNG , Petrochemical Industry, etc.

The Role

As a Electrical Designer Level II with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.                                                                                                 

• The ability to work within a team environment with a minimum of supervision and to both Company and Industry standards.
• The proven ability to oversee the preparation of design and detail drawings from sketches, plans or other design / specification data.
• Have the experience to participate in design review with various clients and to advise on technical design and drafting issues and compliance requirements as appropriate.
• Be able to demonstrate a proven track record of completing a given work scope within time and budget constraints.
• Responsible for the coordination of all electrical drawings.
• Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality system relevant to the BU, etc.
• Safety – Responsible for personal safety and safe working practices for the BU, etc. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.

About You 
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

Required

• A recognized degree / Diploma in E.E.E or equivalent.

Technical and Industry Experience

• 7+ years of experience in the design and drafting of Oil & Gas, Refinery, LNG , Petrochemical Industry, etc.
• Preparation of Substation Equipment Layout, Grounding Layout, Cable Tray Layouts, Lighting layout, Panel Schedule, Power/Cable routing Layout, Cable & Conduit Schedule, Schematic Diagrams, underground Trench Layout, Wiring Diagrams, Single Line Diagrams.
• Experience in 3D Modelling of all Electrical Equipment like panel, lighting fittings, JB’s, instrument trays, instruments, Cable trench, Cable tray and supports, Lighting fixtures, extraction of drawings from 3D Model and preparing Electrical deliverables.
• Familiarization in S3D, E3D, CadworX, AutoCAD, MicroStation, Dialux is required.
• A Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Design / Drafting; with a preference for an Electrical Engineering Degree.
