FileNet ECM Developer

Summary

As an Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting enterprise content management solutions using IBM FileNet P8, IBM Content Manager OnDemand (CMOD), IBM Content Navigator (ICN), and related document management technologies. The role combines application development, system integration, platform administration, and production support responsibilities across the ECM ecosystem.

Your role in our mission

You will contribute to product enhancements, integration initiatives, and modernization efforts, while ensuring adherence to Gainwell development standards and best practices.

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise content management solutions using IBM FileNet P8, IBM Content Manager OnDemand (CMOD), and IBM Content Navigator (ICN).
• Create, configure, and maintain FileNet object stores, document classes, metadata models, security configurations, and workflows.
• Configure and support CMOD application groups, folders, indexing configurations, and archive management processes.
• Develop and customize IBM Content Navigator desktops, repositories, viewers, plug-ins, and integrations.
• Support the complete document lifecycle including document capture, preprocessing, ingestion, archival, retrieval, and retention management.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot applications using Java and C#/.NET technologies.
• Design, develop, and support web services and integrations deployed on IBM WebSphere Application Server.
• Support document capture and scanning workflows using Formworks or similar document capture solutions.
• Perform application deployment, configuration, debugging, and enhancement activities across development, test, and production environments.
• Administer and troubleshoot clustered, load-balanced ECM environments, ensuring system availability, reliability, and performance.
• Work with Oracle and SQL Server databases for application support, troubleshooting, reporting, and performance tuning.
• Analyze business and system requirements and prepare technical design and support documentation. ,
• Utilize ServiceNow for incident, access, and change management activities.
• Participate in production support activities including incident resolution, root cause analysis, performance tuning, software upgrades, and system maintenance.

What we're looking for

Required Skill:

• 8-12 years of experience in Enterprise Content Management (ECM) application development and support. ,
• Strong hands-on experience with IBM FileNet P8.
• Experience with IBM Content Manager OnDemand (CMOD).
• Experience with IBM Content Navigator (ICN) administration and customization.
• Proven experience designing and implementing FileNet object models, workflows, metadata structures, and document management solutions.
• Strong development experience using Java and C#/.NET technologies.
• Experience working with Web Services, APIs, XML, JSON, and system integrations
• Strong knowledge of Oracle and MS SQL Server databases.
• Experience supporting IBM WebSphere Application Server environments.
• Familiarity with Subversion (SVN) or other source control systems.
• Experience troubleshooting complex application, integration, and infrastructure issues.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. ,
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment. ,
