Job Description Summary

The Lead Service Finance Analyst partners with the regional and zone Service Finance teams to deliver financial planning, performance analysis, reporting, and operational finance support for the after-sales services business ("Service organization"). The role reports into the Global Markets Service Income Leader with a dotted line to the regional Service Senior Finance Manager.

The position plays a key role in supporting forecasting, budgeting, month-end close, performance management, and business intelligence activities. The analyst is expected to independently manage recurring reporting processes, provide actionable financial insights, drive reporting simplification initiatives, and support finance leaders in business decision-making across multiple geographies.

Job Description

 Financial reporting & data extraction

• Lead recurring financial reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of management reports and business performance dashboards.
• Extract, validate, consolidate, and analyse financial data from multiple systems and databases.
• Develop meaningful insights on business performance, highlighting risks, opportunities, and key operational drivers.
• Drive process improvement and standardization in financial reporting.

Forecasting, Budgeting & Planning

• Support monthly forecasts, annual Budgeting, and strategic planning processes.
• Partner with finance managers to identify performance risks and opportunities and recommend corrective actions.
• Support headcount planning, workforce analysis, and productivity tracking.

Closing & accounting support

• Lead preparation and booking of assigned Manual Journal Entries (MJEs) and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close activities in partnership with finance and controllership teams.
• Drive continuous improvement of closing processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Business Intelligence & Power BI

• Manage and continuously enhance Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting processes and improve data quality.
• Partner with stakeholders to develop new analytical tools and self-service reporting capabilities.
• Support implementation of standardized reporting frameworks.

  Ad hoc analysis & projects

• Support zone-specific initiatives and finance projects. Respond to business requests such as historical account trending and performance analysis.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting and analytical processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Typically 7-10 years of experience in FP&A, Financial Reporting, Accounting, Business Finance, or related finance roles.
• Fluent in English.
• Experience working with large datasets and financial reporting systems.

• Proven ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and recommend practical solutions.
• Experience supporting forecasting, budgeting, and month-end closing processes.
• Advanced Excel skills, including data manipulation, modelling, and automation techniques.
• Strong Power BI skills, including report development, maintenance, and dashboard design.
• Experience with ERP and financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, SmartView, or equivalent).
• Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact confidently with finance and operational stakeholders.
• Demonstrated process improvement mindset and passion for simplification and automation.
• Comfortable operating within a global, matrixed organization.
