Job Description

The High Performance Compute (HPC) organization is seeking a detailed oriented Program Manager to lead and coordinate the global Evaluation Board (EVB) program portfolio supporting Renesas R-Car SoC products. This role is responsible for managing global demand, allocation, shipment, compliance, and operational execution of Evaluation Boards used by customers, partners, and internal engineering teams. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Own worldwide evaluation board demand forecasting, allocation, and inventory planning by balancing customer demand with inventory exposure and product lifecycle risks. 
• Coordinate board supply, inventory, manufacturing and shipment activities. 
• Coordinate post-delivery events such as repair, modification, and replacement. 
• Support worldwide shipment execution and logistics tracking.  
• Support compliance with export control, customs, and trade regulations. 
• Support payment, invoicing, budgeting, and financial planning activities. 
• Manage executive escalations for strategic and high-priority board requests. 
• Produce regular executive status reports covering demand, supply, inventory, risks, and actions. 
• Coordinate globally across engineering, operations, logistics, finance, sales, and compliance teams.  
• Drive inventory strategies to minimize excess/obsolete inventory (ie: board revisions, component changes, SoC updates, or product transitions)  
• Coordinate build quantities and manufacturing releases to support customer requirements while maintaining lean inventory with minimal financial risk  

Required Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related discipline. 
• 12+ years of program management, operations, supply chain, or customer program management experience. 
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. 
• Experience leading global cross-functional initiatives. 
• Experience balancing supply, demand, and inventory levels in rapidly changing environments 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications 

• Semiconductor industry experience. 
• Automotive customer experience. 
• Knowledge of export control and trade compliance processes. 
• Experience managing hardware products with revision controlled BOMs, component obsolescence challenges and limited lifecycle inventory 
• Experience with engineering hardware or evaluation board programs. 

Key Success Measures 

• Accurate demand forecasting to enable customer support with minimal obsolete or excess inventory 
• On-time shipment performance with strong (<24hour) communication response to global team 
• Effective escalation management. 
• Executive visibility through high-quality reporting.
