Project Management Officer
Summary
As a PMO Resource & Compliance Management Analyst, you will support Gainwell’s Project Management Office by ensuring consistent project governance, accurate resource allocation, and adherence to PMO standards across a large, fast‑paced software development account. This role plays a central part in maintaining project plan quality, operational consistency, and visibility across multiple project teams.
You will work closely with Project Managers, PMO leadership, and cross‑functional stakeholders to support resource planning, schedule compliance, risk and issue tracking, and operational reporting. The role requires strong attention to detail, structured thinking, and the ability to work effectively within Gainwell’s established delivery and governance frameworks.
This role is strictly involved in project governance, resource management, and compliance support activities and does not involve access to Protected Health Information (PHI), Personally Identifiable Information (PII), or any secured or confidential client data. The work is limited to PMO operations, project planning oversight, and resource management support and does not include handling or processing of sensitive health or personal information.
Your role in our mission
- Review and validate resource allocations across projects to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with approved staffing plans.Establish and maintain Microsoft Project baselines for new and ongoing projects.Perform quality assurance reviews of project schedules to ensure compliance with PMO standards, templates, and best practices.Monitor adherence to PMO processes and escalate inconsistencies or risks to PMO leadership as appropriate. Communicate upcoming due dates, required updates, and compliance reminders to project teams through clear, professional written communication.Assist Project Managers in documenting, tracking, and maintaining project risks, issues, and dependencies.Coordinate and schedule internal meetings to address cross‑team dependencies, task conflicts, and planning gaps.Facilitate or co‑lead discussions to align teams and drive timely resolution of planning and resourcing challenges. Maintain operational and non‑project work plans, including tracking time spent on internal initiatives, administrative work, and non‑billable activities. Support the PMO in maintaining visibility into operational workload and capacity. Assist with periodic reporting, data consolidation, and analysis for PMO leadership and stakeholders.
What we're looking for
- 10+ years of experience supporting PMO, project governance, or enterprise delivery environments.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project and familiarity with enterprise project management tools.
- Strong written communication skills, particularly for email‑based coordination and compliance communication.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Project Managers, technical leads, and PMO leadership.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and priorities.
- Comfort working in a structured, compliance‑driven environment with established processes and governance expectations.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret project data and identify gaps or inconsistencies.
