Job Title: Global QA Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Global QA Lead with 14+ years of Quality Assurance experience to lead enterprise-wide testing strategy, automation transformation, and global QA delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in automation frameworks, data testing, ETL/ELT validation, API and performance testing, CI/CD implementation, and financial domain testing, particularly in Capital Markets and Foreign Exchange .

This role requires a strategic leader who can drive quality engineering initiatives, build high-performing global QA teams, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and establish enterprise testing standards across cloud-native and data-intensive applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the enterprise Quality Engineering and Test Automation strategy across multiple programs.

• Lead end-to-end QA activities throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, Developers, and Product teams to design highly testable applications.

• Develop technical roadmaps and implementation plans for enterprise automation initiatives.

• Design and evaluate proof of concepts (POCs) and feasibility studies for new QA technologies and automation frameworks.

• Lead automation initiatives for functional, regression, integration, system, API, ETL/ELT, and performance testing.

• Design, enhance, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and enterprise test suites.

• Drive continuous improvements in QA processes, automation coverage, and testing methodologies.

• Ensure automated testing is integrated into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality validation.

• Lead root cause analysis, defect management, risk assessment, and quality reporting.

• Define QA standards, governance models, and best practices across multiple projects.

• Monitor quality metrics and provide executive-level reporting on delivery, automation effectiveness, and release readiness.

• Lead stakeholder demonstrations and communicate testing progress, risks, and recommendations to technical and business leadership.

• Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing QA teams.

• Drive resource planning, performance management, career development, and succession planning.

• Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistent quality standards across programs and regions.

Required Skills

Quality Engineering & Test Automation

• Strong expertise in enterprise Quality Engineering and Test Automation.

• Experience designing scalable automation frameworks using BDD and TDD methodologies.

• Hands-on expertise with Selenium, Cucumber, JBehave, Jasmine , and similar automation frameworks.

• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, and SQL .

• Experience testing UI, APIs, Microservices, Data Pipelines, and Distributed Systems.

• Strong expertise in API and Microservices testing.

Data Testing & ETL

• Extensive experience in Data Testing , including data quality, reconciliation, validation, and end-to-end data flow verification.

• Experience testing Operational, Relational, and OLAP databases .

• Expertise in ETL/ELT testing across parallel processing pipelines.

• Strong SQL skills with Azure SQL Database and Azure Data Warehouse.

• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Talend, Azure Data Lake, and Blob Storage .

Performance & DevOps

• Experience leading enterprise-level Performance Testing initiatives.

• Strong expertise in CI/CD implementation using Jenkins, Bamboo, or Azure DevOps .

• Experience integrating automated testing into DevOps pipelines and cloud environments.

Leadership

• Proven experience leading global QA teams and enterprise testing programs.

• Strong experience in resource planning, hiring, mentoring, and performance management.

• Expertise in estimation, forecasting, capacity planning, and ROI analysis.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Domain Experience

• Minimum 14+ years of Quality Assurance experience.

• Minimum 7 years of experience in the Financial Services domain.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Capital Markets .

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Foreign Exchange (FX) .

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Azure Cloud technologies.

• Azure Certification is preferred.

• Experience with enterprise cloud-native applications and distributed architectures.

• Exposure to large-scale financial platforms and regulatory environments.
