As a Scientific Comms. Lead, you turn complex clinical data into clear, credible medical communication that global experts and healthcare professionals can trust. You create high-impact materials and lead scientific dialogue with global key opinion leaders, helping the world understand the clinical profile of our products. Your work sharpens how medical knowledge reaches the people who shape care for those living with serious chronic diseases.

 

What you'll bring
Essential:

• A Ph.D. or PharmD with substantial research expertise in the life sciences area and 3-5 years of experience in medical affairs or medical/scientific writing
• At least two years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong communication skills and proven experience engaging stakeholders.
• Demonstrated research experience, for example peer-reviewed publications.
• Strong MS PowerPoint skills for building scientific presentations.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.

 

What you'll do

• You will develop medical communication that is accurate, engaging and credible, and you will connect the teams and people who bring it to life.
• Create high-impact scientific and medical communication materials across medical affairs focus areas for internal and external audiences.
• Proactively engage global key opinion leaders in scientific dialogue and build lasting relationships.
• Partner with medical affairs teams to drive global medical education and communication plans, presenting data at meetings and symposia to strengthen KOL and HCP understanding of product clinical profiles.
• Ensure effective cross-functional collaboration and consistent communication between medical affairs teams, project managers and medical illustrators.
• Provide both back-end and on-site support for activities driven by Global Medical Affairs.

Who you'll work with
You will join Medical Communications within Global Medical Affairs, part of Product & Portfolio Strategy in Global Business Services, based in Bangalore, India. In Product & Portfolio Strategy, colleagues connect commercial strategy, medical affairs and business development across therapy areas, helping guide the Novo portfolio and strengthen competitiveness.
Your team brings together global scientific advisors, project managers and graphic designers. 
Together, you will partner closely with the Global Medical Affairs teams in Denmark, communicating scientific and medical knowledge on our products to the external scientific community and across the organisation. The atmosphere is dynamic and fast-paced, with a strong focus on teamwork and scientific excellence. You will also work directly with global key opinion leaders, including on-site engagement at meetings and symposia.
