Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your meticulous financial management and analytical expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated, strategic, and innovative teammates.

You'll deliver critical financial insights and support to our project teams, fostering sound economic management and optimizing project financial targets. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Project Managers, Work Package Owners, Accounting Team), ensure control of project results, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of the precision of financial project data, uphold compliance with financial standards, and proactively manage risks and opportunities.

We’ll look to you for:

• Support project setup and ensure timely collection of all financial and accounting data for assigned contracts.
• Validate accuracy of project financial records, including customer/supplier invoices, timesheets, and travel expenses.
• Monitor and control monthly project costs and financial movements, ensuring transparency in reporting.
• Manage and control internal purchase order intercompany flows.Prepare and maintain Estimate at Completion (EAC), with clear assumptions, justifications, and documentation.
• Reconcile approved project financials between ODYC and accounting books.Drive project financial strategy, including tax, hedging, financing, and cash optimization.
• Provide financial oversight, analysis, and early risk warnings to management.Review contract terms and advise on financial implications and competitiveness improvements.
• Deliver reliable financial insights to support stakeholder decision-making.Prepare project review materials and reassess project profitability periodically.
• Improve forecast accuracy for revenue, cash flow, costs, and profitability.Coordinate with finance expert functions such as Tax, Treasury, Audit, Risk, and Accounting.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax requirements, and statutory reporting.Support project risk and opportunity management, including contingency and savings validation.
• Partner with Project Managers on contract and claim management, focusing on financial risks.
• Ensure proper financial closure of projects, including bond collection, checklist completion, and ERP closure.
• Monitor project financial performance and recommend actions to improve margin, cash flow, and risk mitigation.
• Review and approve project financials (cash flow, competitiveness) in line with Delegation of Authority (DoA).
• Align project execution with tender-stage financial strategies, ensuring smooth handover from Tender to Project.

• A Master’s degree in Finance or equivalent (CA / CMA)

• Experience or understanding of Project Controlling / Costing / Corporate Finance

• Knowledge of financial management systems, notably SAP

• Familiarity with MS Excel

• A certification in finance or a related field is a plus

• Robust analytical and presentation skills

• Resilience and adaptability in the face of change
