Senior Digital Risk Advisor
Senior Digital Risk Advisor – Digital & Technology Group Functions

Join our dynamic team at Swiss Re, where you'll be at the intersection of technology, risk management, and business strategy — helping to protect and strengthen one of the world's leading reinsurance companies. If you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and love turning complex risk challenges into smart, practical solutions, this could be the role for you!
About the Role
As a Senior Digital Risk Advisor, you'll serve as a trusted partner to our Digital and Technology Group Functions, ensuring that digital and technology risks are properly identified, assessed, and controlled. You'll play a pivotal role in building a robust risk culture while enabling innovation and business growth through effective, forward-thinking risk management practices. This is your chance to make a real impact — shaping how a global organisation navigates the ever-evolving digital risk landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Lead comprehensive risk assessments and control evaluations within our Digital and Technology Group Functions Unit (IT HR, Risk Management, CRES, and more)
Implement digital risk frameworks as a trusted advisor, ensuring IT threats and risks are clearly understood and managed across the organisation
Design and embed effective controls into operational procedures through close collaboration with technology teams
Drive automation of control processes and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen our overall risk posture
Build operational transparency through continuous monitoring and assessment of controls against our defined risk appetite
Coordinate audit activities and serve as the primary point of contact for Internal Audits, External Audits, and Compliance Risk Reviews
Provide expert guidance on digital risk and control activities within the Digital and Technology Group Functions
Champion risk awareness by staying current with evolving digital risk requirements and ensuring proper framework implementation
Foster innovation in risk management approaches and methodologies, bringing fresh perspectives to longstanding challenges

About You
You are a strategic thinker with a genuine passion for risk management and a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving. You understand both the technical and business dimensions of digital risk and can communicate complex concepts clearly and confidently to stakeholders at all levels — from senior leaders to IT engineers. These are additional nice to haves:
Professional qualifications such as CISA, CGEIT, CRISC, or equivalent certifications
Experience with control automation and continuous monitoring techniques
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain collaborative networks across IT domains and business functions
A track record of driving innovation in risk management methodologies and approaches
