Senior Manager - Electrical Design

 

Position Summary:

 

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager - Electrical Design to lead electrical design for CNC machine tools The role is responsible for electrical design of CNC machines, panel design, automation integration, machine safety, and leadership of the electrical engineering team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

•Lead electrical design and development of CNC machine tools and automation systems.
•Define electrical standards, architecture and best practices across product lines.
•Design and review electrical schematics, panel layouts, cable routing and BOMs.
•Lead selection and integration of CNCs, servo drives, spindle systems, sensors and safety devices.
•Ensure compliance with IEC/EN 60204-1, ISO 13849, CE and relevant standards.
•Manage project execution, resource planning, and engineering deliverables.
•Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
•Mentor and develop electrical design engineers.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

•Bachelor's degree in electrical/Electronic Engineering.
•12-18 years of experience in machine tool electrical design or industrial automation.
•Minimum 5 years of management experience.

 

Technical Skills:

 

•FANUC, Siemens, Mitsubishi, NUM or equivalent CNC systems.
•PLC/PMC programming and troubleshooting.
•Exposure to EPLAN .
•Analytical capability  to  analyze and resolve issues of mechatronics in nature.
•PROFIBUS, PROFINET, EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP.
•Machine safety systems and EMC practices.
•Exposure in implementing Industry 4.0 spects of the machine
