As part of our team, you will collaborate closely with colleagues in a results-oriented environment, working on projects that will shape Uber's global foundation. You will play a key role in building Uber's most impactful growth lever, leading projects, and driving cross-team collaboration with engineers from various product teams, including UberEats, Rides, FinTech, and more. Your work will have a tangible impact across multiple products and business lines. 1. Design, develop, and improve web solutions used by millions of members, in collaboration with a team of talented engineers, Product Managers and Designers.
2. Write high-quality code and uphold standards for testing and coverage.
3. Align the team on solutions to ambiguous problems and analyze the tradeoffs of different technical solutions
4. Contribute to engineering cultivation in terms of quality, monitoring, and on-call practices.
5. Find opportunities to improve how our team operates and promote standard processes

---- Basic Qualifications ----

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field OR 3-years full-time Software Engineering work experience, WHICH INCLUDES 3-years total technical software engineering experience in one or more of the following areas:
2. Programming language (e.g. C, C++, Java, Javascript, Python, or Go)
3. Note the 3-years total of specialized software engineering experience may have been gained through education and full-time work experience, additional training, coursework, research, or similar (OR some combination of these). The year of specialized experience is not necessarily in addition to the years of Education & full-time work experience indicated.

---- Preferred Qualifications ----

1. Demonstrated experience of shipping high-quality product features on schedule
2. Experience implementing complex projects with multiple dependencies
3. Experience of cutting edge web technologies (HTML5, CSS, Javascript, TypeScript), Application Servers, Web Applications
4. Experience in Javascript and experience developing UI with JavaScript development frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, Vue, Bootstrap, etc)
5. Experience with Node.js, React-Query, GraphQL, or other server-side Javascript technologies and tools
6. Familiarity with principles of good user experience
