Specialist - Software Engineering
DevOps Engineer
Role Summary
Senior DevOps engineer responsible for CICD pipelines infrastructure automation and operational reliability for a distributed application stack
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain CICD pipelines covering build test security scanning and deployments
Automate infrastructure provisioning using InfrastructureasCode TerraformCloudFormation or equivalent
Implement standard pipeline templates and reusable modules to improve consistency and velocity
Establish observability logs metrics s and synthetic checks for critical endpoints
Support environment stability secrets management access control configuration management
Drive operational excellence incident response support RCA and continuous improvement
Optimise cloud cost and performance through rightsizing lifecycle policies and automation
Musthave Skills Experience
6 to 8 years in DevOps Cloud engineering roles
Strong CICD experience GitLab CI Jenkins or equivalent
Handson cloud infrastructure experience AWS preferred
InfrastructureasCode expertise TerraformCloudFormation
Strong scripting skills PythonBash and operational troubleshooting
Kubernetes and container orchestration experience
Goodtohave Bonus
Experience implementing security guardrails and compliance checks in pipelines
Experience with vulnerability scanning and SBOMartefact promotion practices
Experience supporting realtimehighavailability systems
