Job Summary

Describe the purpose of the job

This is a key role in Digital Transformation focused on enabling high-quality product data across engineering and digital platforms. The position is responsible for product data preparation, classification, standardization, and data readiness to support digital engineering, analytics, and automation applications. The candidate will work closely with Engineering, Technology, Product Management, and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, structured, and scalable product information throughout the product lifecycle. Knowledge of engineering systems, product data management, CAD systems, and digital tools will be beneficial.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Support product data preparation, validation, and enrichment activities.

• Classify and standardize product information in accordance with business and engineering standards.

• Ensure product data readiness for downstream applications, digital platforms, analytics, and customer-facing systems.

• Maintain data quality, consistency, and governance across engineering and enterprise systems.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and IT teams to define and implement product data standards.

• Support digital transformation initiatives through structured product data and process standardization.

• Manage product attributes, classification, metadata, and classification frameworks.

• Assist in the migration, validation, and maintenance of product information within enterprise systems.

• Identify opportunities to improve data quality and automate repetitive data management activities.

• Prepare reports, dashboards, and analyses to support data-driven decision-making.

• Create and maintain documentation, standards, and procedures related to product data management.

• Participate in cross-functional projects supporting digital engineering and business transformation initiatives.

Knowledge & Skills

• 10 months to 3 years of experience in Programming, Graphics, Product Classification, or related engineering functions.

• Basic knowledge of C# and C++ programming is an added advantage.

• Experience with SAP and CAD systems is preferred.

• Understanding of cutting tools, metalworking processes, and industrial products.

• Familiarity with engineering data management, digitalization initiatives, DCX, SAP, and relational databases.

• Knowledge of software development fundamentals, including debugging, version control, testing, and deployment.

• Awareness of automation, data standardization, and digital engineering processes.

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills with a professional approach.

• Proficient in engineering software with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
