Your new role

 

As a Senior Clinical Data Management Professional, you will set direction and deliver results within your clinical trial(s) and clinical project area, applying deep subject matter expertise to manage complex tasks across the trial lifecycle. You will work independently, mentor peers, and drive operational excellence – ensuring data accuracy, quality, and integrity from collection through to submission.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the Data Management trial team, acting as the DM point of contact and co-chairing the Trial Squad
  • Planning, executing, and delivering DM trial activities and coordinating the CDM&P trial project plan including SDTM, ADaM, and TFL deliverables
  • Defining data collection strategy aligned with protocol and standards, and optimising trial design through protocol input
  • Overseeing DM risk management, including RACT and issue resolution across stakeholders
  • Ensuring effective collaboration with CROs and vendors, including oversight for deliverables in the FSO outsourcing model
  • Supporting compliance with ICH GCP and internal processes, and ensuring trial-level audit and inspection readiness
  • Identifying better practice opportunities, defining process improvements, and contributing to innovation through pilot initiatives and new tools

In Research & Development, you'll be part of a unit that explores bold scientific ideas and advances them into clinical testing. Through collaboration and operational excellence, we shape and deliver an innovative pipeline to meet future patient needs.

Within R&D, you will join Clinical Data Management & Programming (CDM&P), a function at the heart of our clinical development engine. The team ensures the data behind every clinical trial meets the highest standards of quality and integrity – enabling confident decision-making across our growing pipeline. You will collaborate closely with Trial Squad members, statisticians, medical teams, and global partners, contributing directly to the therapies that reach patients around the world.

 

Your skills & qualifications

 

We're looking for a Senior Clinical Data Management Professional who thrives in a complex, international environment and brings both technical rigour and collaborative spirit. You'll bring with you:

  • MSc or BSc in IT, Natural or Life Sciences, or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience within clinical data management or equivalent, with increasing complexity in leading trials or projects in an international setting
  • Good understanding of DM processes, clinical data flow, GCP, and regulatory requirements
  • Strong analytical and data literacy skills, combined with good project management and coordination capabilities
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to adapt messaging across stakeholders in a multinational environment and fluency in written and spoken English
  • A self-driven, results-oriented approach with the ability to handle multiple tasks, manage variable workloads, and seek innovative solutions
