About the Job

The Performance & Insights (P&I) team enables advertisers to measure, understand, and optimize the business impact of their media investments through advanced analytics, measurement, data visualization, and data-driven insights.

As a Senior Manager, Performance & Insights, you will lead a team of approximately 7–9 analysts and senior analysts responsible for delivering high-quality performance measurement, campaign analytics, and strategic insights for a portfolio of advertiser clients.

You will own the end-to-end quality and effectiveness of P&I delivery across your team’s book of business. This includes ensuring that advertiser objectives are translated into clear learning agendas, appropriate measurement approaches, rigorous analyses, executive-ready visualizations, and recommendations that influence media investment and business decisions.

You will serve as a senior analytical and consulting partner to PSG, Measurement, Product, and other cross-functional teams. You will also build relationships with Director-level client and analytics stakeholders, manage complex client escalations, and clearly articulate how Roundel media contributes to revenue, growth, customer engagement, and other key business outcomes.

Success in this role requires strong people leadership, deep marketing analytics and measurement expertise, client consulting experience, operational discipline, and the ability to build a team that consistently delivers analytically rigorous and commercially impactful work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 7–9 Performance & Insights professionals, establishing clear expectations for analytical quality, client service, collaboration, and business impact.
  • Own P&I delivery across the team’s advertiser portfolio, ensuring work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with established quality standards and client commitments.
  • Ensure the team develops a documented understanding of each advertiser’s business objectives, marketing priorities, measurement needs, and key decision points.
  • Translate advertiser and business questions into structured learning agendas, analytical frameworks, measurement plans, KPIs, and success criteria.
  • Guide the team in selecting and applying appropriate media measurement methodologies, including incrementality measurement, synthetic control approaches, attribution, lift studies, test-and-control experimentation, A/B testing, marketing mix modeling, and third-party measurement solutions.
  • Coach team members to independently interpret, challenge, and apply marketing mix modeling and third-party attribution outputs when developing performance recommendations.
  • Ensure analytical solutions—including insight modules, scaled insights, channel-performance narratives, dashboards, and custom analyses—are effectively used to address advertiser needs and drive measurable business and revenue impact.
  • Establish analytical review and quality-assurance mechanisms covering methodology selection, data validation, KPI definitions, statistical interpretation, dashboard design, visualization, and recommendation development.
  • Ensure the team maintains high-quality learning and measurement plans that are aligned with advertiser business needs and P&I standards.
  • Champion the adoption of Director-vetted analytical platforms, advanced statistical methods, visualization practices, and measurement capabilities across the team.
  • Coach direct reports to transform complex campaign, customer, retail, and media data into clear business narratives that explain performance drivers and identify actionable growth opportunities.
  • Ensure deliverables clearly demonstrate how media investments contribute to advertiser revenue, growth, customer engagement, and other key business objectives.
  • Oversee the development of executive-ready dashboards, visualizations, presentations, and post-campaign analyses that simplify complex findings and enable confident decision-making.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with Director-level advertiser, agency, analytics, Sales, and PSG stakeholders.
  • Present complex analytical findings and strategic recommendations to senior internal and external stakeholders, confidently articulating the impact of media on business performance and investment outcomes.
  • Take ownership of complex client and delivery escalations, driving timely resolution and reinforcing alignment on measurement, performance, and media-investment priorities.
  • Partner with Sales, PSG, Measurement, Product, Business Intelligence, Go-to-Market, and P&I Enablement teams to improve advertiser solutions and strengthen Roundel’s measurement capabilities.
  • Proactively gather and apply feedback from advertisers, PSG, and cross-functional partners to improve team effectiveness, analytical products, and client experiences.
  • Participate in strategic P&I priority plans and ensure the team contributes effectively toward established goals, OKRs, attributable revenue, client satisfaction, and operational performance measures.
  • Manage team capacity, account assignments, delivery priorities, and resources, adjusting plans and approaches as business needs and client priorities evolve.
  • Identify opportunities to automate recurring analyses, standardize dashboards and reporting, create reusable analytical assets, and improve the scalability and efficiency of P&I delivery.
  • Ensure consistent adoption of operational standards, including work-management systems, documentation, knowledge repositories, delivery tracking, and appropriate attribution of cross-functional contributions.
  • Establish inclusive team norms and forums that encourage constructive challenge, ensure diverse perspectives are heard, and address behaviors that limit collaboration or inclusion.
  • Provide timely and transparent performance feedback, address difficult issues directly, and maintain meaningful career-development plans for every team member.
  • Build team capability through coaching, analytical reviews, knowledge-sharing forums, presentation practice, skill assessments, and targeted development opportunities.

About You

  • 10–14 years of experience in marketing analytics, retail analytics, digital media measurement, business intelligence, data science, client consulting, or a related analytical function.
  • At least 4 years of experience directly managing and developing analytics, insights, business intelligence, or measurement professionals.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team of approximately 7 - 9 team members while managing multiple clients, priorities, and analytical deliverables.
  • MBA/ Master’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Marketing, or another quantitative discipline.
  • Deep understanding of digital advertising, retail media, campaign measurement, marketing effectiveness, and performance KPIs.
  • Strong knowledge of measurement methodologies including incrementality, attribution, lift studies, experimentation, synthetic controls, marketing mix modeling, and third-party measurement approaches.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate analytical methodologies, challenge assumptions, review findings, and ensure recommendations are supported by accurate and credible analysis.
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL and analytical tools such as Python or R, with the ability to guide technical approaches and review analytical outputs produced by the team.
  • Experience leading the development of interactive dashboards and executive-level visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar business intelligence platforms.
  • Strong understanding of visualization principles, dashboard design, and data storytelling, with the ability to ensure complex analytical findings are communicated clearly and persuasively.
  • Proven client-consulting and stakeholder-management skills, including experience influencing Director-level and senior business leaders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex analytical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience managing client escalations, resolving ambiguity, and aligning stakeholders around measurement approaches, analytical findings, and recommended actions.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish quality standards, operational processes, governance mechanisms, and scalable delivery practices across an analytics team.
  • Strong strategic planning, prioritization, resource-management, and execution skills, with a demonstrated ability to deliver business outcomes in a dynamic environment.
  • Inclusive and empathetic leadership style, with a strong commitment to team development, constructive feedback, collaboration, and creating an environment where team members can grow and succeed.
