Good to have skills: SQL Performance Tuning, Data Warehousing, CDC (Change Data Capture), Linux/Unix, Git/Version Control Preferred Qualifications: • Experience designing end-to-end integration solutions including source-to-target mappings and transformation logic. • Familiarity with scheduling and orchestration practices for ETL workflows and operational monitoring. • Exposure to data warehousing concepts (dimensions/facts), incremental loads, and CDC-style patterns. • Ability to improve pipeline performance through tuning, partitioning strategies, and efficient transformation design. • Strong communication skills to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams and drive delivery outcomes. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain Talend-based ETL/ELT workflows to ingest, transform, and load data across systems. • Build reusable Talend jobs, components, and frameworks aligned with best practices for scalability and maintainability. • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define mappings, and translate business needs into technical solutions. • Implement data validation, error handling, logging, and alerting to ensure reliable and auditable data pipelines. • Perform performance tuning and optimization of Talend jobs, SQL queries, and data flows to meet SLAs. • Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and drive fixes through to closure. • Create and maintain technical documentation including job design, data mappings, and operational runbooks. • Support releases by coordinating deployments, versioning, and environment promotions in line with team processes. Minimum Qualifications: • BTECH, MTECH, MCA, or MSC. • 3–5 years of experience in data integration/ETL development with Talend. • Strong hands-on experience with Talend and Talend Open Studio, including job design, debugging, and deployment support. • Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL for data extraction, transformation, and validation. • Experience implementing robust error handling, logging, and data quality checks in ETL pipelines.
