What would you do? • You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions. • The Record to Report team supports accurate period end financial reporting, general ledger integrity, reconciliations, controls and audit ready accounting across assigned entities and accounts. • This is the process of generating financial statements in accordance with client policies and statutory requirements. • Activities include IFRS to local GAAP reconciliation, updating notes accounts, XBRL tagging, preparing tax packs etc.
What are we looking for? • • Finance Processes • • End to end statutory and financial reporting, financial statement preparation, supporting schedules, data validation and reporting controls • • Experience with SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, Power BI or similar ERP, reporting and visualization tools • • Experience in Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs)
Roles and Responsibilities: • • In this role you are required to identify and assess complex problems for area of responsibility • • You will need to create solutions in situations which requires an in depth analysis evaluation of variable factors • • This will require alignment to strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near term goals • • Your primary interaction will be with senior management at a client and or within Accenture, involving matters that may require acceptance of an alternate approach • • Some latitude in decision making is involved, you will act independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments • • You will need to flag risks to clients and Accenture stakeholders and propose action plans where needed • • Manage assigned statutory reporting activities and timelines, track completion, highlight risks and communicate issues that may affect reporting delivery. • • Prepare and review accurate financial reports, financial statements, supporting schedules and reconciliations with complete supporting evidence. • • Validate data across ERP and reporting systems, investigate variances or inconsistencies, and coordinate timely resolution with upstream and downstream stakeholders. • • Develop structured commentary on financial movements, risks and trends; maintain audit ready reporting evidence; support governance reviews and contribute to reporting standardization, automation and continuous improvement • specific KPI targets
