Role Summary  

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer with minimum of 8+ years of experience in DevOps area to join our team. The ideal candidate should be able to quickly understand the product and platform, onboard effectively, and work both independently and collaboratively across teams.  

This role requires strong hands-on expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, container platforms, scripting, monitoring, and production support. The candidate will also be expected to contribute to engineering initiatives, proof of concepts, automation ideas, and continuous platform improvements.

Key Responsibilities  

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure on AWS
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for faster and more reliable software delivery
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment workflows using Terraform, Chef, and scripting tools
• Manage and support containerized workloads using ECS
• Work closely with development, QA, and cross-functional teams to enable smooth build, release, and deployment processes
• Monitor applications and infrastructure using observability tools and proactively address stability or performance issues
• Handle incidents, troubleshoot production issues, and drive root cause analysis and resolution
• Support artifact management and release processes using JFrog Artifactory
• Contribute to POCs, new initiatives, automation opportunities, and continuous improvement efforts
• Apply a developer mindset to solve engineering problems efficiently and improve platform reliability
• Participate in operational excellence initiatives including system resilience, troubleshooting, and production stability

Primary Skill Set  

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services/resources
• Good working knowledge of AWS CLI
• Experience with Jenkins and/or TeamCity
• Strong expertise in CI/CD pipeline design, implementation, and support
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Chef
• Strong scripting and automation skills using:
  • Shell scripting / PowerShell
  • Python
• Experience with ECS Containers
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools such as:
  • Splunk
  • Datadog
• Experience with JFrog Artifactory
• Basic knowledge of SQL and PostgreSQL queries
• Strong incident handling, production support, and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work with a developer mindset and collaborate effectively across teams

Secondary Skill Set  

• Experience with EKS
• Knowledge of Helm Charts
• Familiarity with GitOps
• Exposure to ECR
• Understanding of SRE principles and architecture mindset
• Experience with 3rd-party vault/secrets management solutions
• Exposure to vulnerability analysis / security scanning tools

Preferred Qualifications  

• AWS certification is preferred
• Experience working in distributed or global teams
• Ability to quickly understand product architecture and business workflows
• Strong ownership, initiative, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively in a team environment
• Experience contributing to POCs, platform improvements, and technical initiatives

The ideal candidate is a hands-on Senior DevOps / SRE individual contributor who can ramp up quickly, understand the product and engineering ecosystem, and independently drive automation, reliability, deployment efficiency, and operational improvements. This person should be comfortable balancing day-to-day support needs with long-term engineering initiatives and innovation.
