WordPress Developer
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop & maintain websites using WordPress CMS with experience in between 5 8 years.
- Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins (as when required).
- Implement responsive design principles to ensure websites are mobile-friendly.
- Optimize website performance, ensuring fast load times and smooth user experience.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and resolve any front-end issues.
- Lead architectural discussions and provide guidance on best practices.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and frameworks to improve development efficiency.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Work closely with designers to translate designs into functional WordPress websites.
- Collaborate with content and marketing teams to implement and optimize SEO strategies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs.
- Perform regular updates and maintenance to ensure website security and functionality.
- Monitor website performance and implement improvements as necessary.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
- Knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Familiarity with WordPress multisite network setup and management.
- Experience with RTL website development & setup.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer/Architect or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) is a plus.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
