KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

SCM Executive

• Handle procurement activities for new projects from initial requirement through production launch. 
• Review BOM, project timeline, customer requirements, and material lead times to develop procurement plans. 
• Coordinate with Engineering and Project teams for new part development, sample requirements, trials, and production readiness.
• Release purchase orders and schedules to suppliers based on project and production requirements. 
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time material availability as per project milestones. 
• Track long-lead-time and critical materials and proactively highlight supply risks. 
• Maintain project-wise procurement status and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Material Planning & Supplier Coordination. 
• Plan raw materials, components, and imported items based on forecast, production plan, inventory, and lead time. 
• Share schedules and forecasts with suppliers and monitor adherence. 
• Import & Customs Clearance.
•  Logistics & Dispatch Management 

• JOB REQUIREMENTS 
• Master Degree or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, Operations, Logistics, or a related discipline. 
• Relevant experience in SCM, procurement, material planning, import/export, or logistics, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry. 
• Experience in new project procurement and supplier coordination. 
• Understanding of import shipment and customs clearance processes. 
• Knowledge of purchase orders, scheduling, material planning, inventory management, and logistics. 
• Working knowledge of SAP/ERP systems preferred. 
• Knowledge of Advanced Excel and reporting skills. 
• Good communication, supplier follow-up, and problem-solving abilities. 
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and critical project requirements. 
• Strong ownership with a focus on on-time material availability and zero production disruption. 
• Ability to work effectively with suppliers, logistics partners, CHA/customs brokers, and cross-functional internal teams.
