Debt Recovery Agent

We are looking for motivated and responsible candidates for the position of Debt Recovery Agent / Collection Executive.

Job Responsibilities:

• Contact customers regarding pending/overdue payments through phone calls and other authorized communication channels.
• Inform customers about their outstanding balance, payment due dates, and available payment options.
• Understand customers’ payment-related concerns and assist them with suitable repayment options as per company policies.
• Follow up with customers on promised payment dates and maintain regular communication until the account is resolved.
• Maintain accurate records of calls, customer responses, payment commitments, and follow-ups in the company system.
• Handle customer queries, objections, and payment-related disputes professionally.
• Escalate disputed or complicated cases to the concerned senior/team leader.
• Achieve assigned monthly collection and recovery targets.
• Prepare daily/weekly collection reports and provide regular updates to the reporting manager.
• For field-recovery roles, visit customers at approved locations when required and follow the company's field-collection procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer and account information.
• Follow all company guidelines and applicable rules while communicating with customers.
• Maintain professional, polite, and respectful behavior during all customer interactions.

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum qualification: 12th Pass / Graduate preferred.
• Freshers can apply; experience in collections, recovery, banking, finance, customer service, or sales will be an advantage.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle difficult customer conversations calmly.
• Target-oriented and willing to work with regular follow-ups.
• Good convincing, listening, and problem-solving skills.
• Candidates comfortable with field work may be preferred for field-recovery positions.
