Kitchen Helper

We are looking for a Kitchen Helper who can assist the Chef and kitchen team in daily kitchen operations and food preparation. The candidate should have basic knowledge of mise en place, vegetable cutting, peeling, washing, portioning, weighing, and organizing ingredients.

The candidate should assist in pre-preparation activities, including cutting and chopping vegetables, cleaning and arranging ingredients, preparing basic components, and keeping all kitchen items ready for service.

The candidate should have basic knowledge of boiling, blanching, soaking, straining, and other basic food preparation techniques. They should be able to follow the Chef's instructions accurately and maintain consistency in preparation.

Good chopping speed, accuracy, consistency, and safe knife-handling skills are essential. The candidate should be able to complete preparation tasks within the required kitchen timelines.

The Kitchen Helper will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of the workstation, cleaning and organizing utensils and equipment, proper storage of ingredients, handling kitchen waste, and following food safety standards.

The candidate should be a team player, disciplined, punctual, willing to learn, and capable of working efficiently during busy kitchen operations and service hours.
