Position: Social Media Specialist

We are looking for a creative, strategic, and data-driven Social Media Specialist who can take ownership of Growth Addicted’s social media presence and contribute to its overall digital growth.

The ideal candidate should understand social media trends, content strategy, audience psychology, platform algorithms, and what makes content perform. They should also be comfortable appearing on camera and willing to shoot content whenever required.

Key Responsibilities1. Social Media Strategy

• Develop and execute social media strategies for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other relevant platforms.
• Plan weekly and monthly content calendars.
• Identify trends, new formats, and content opportunities to increase reach and engagement.
• Analyse performance and continuously improve the strategy.

2. Content & Topic Research

• Research trending and high-performing topics relevant to Growth Addicted’s audience.
• Research YouTube topics, keywords, competitors, formats, hooks, and content gaps.
• Identify content ideas for Reels, Shorts, carousels, and long-form videos.
• Research topics for Growth Addicted and Aman Upadhyay’s channels.

3. Content Planning & Creation

• Develop content ideas, hooks, captions, CTAs, and content briefs.
• Plan content around campaigns, launches, events, offers, and important dates.
• Create or assist in shooting social media content when required.
• Be comfortable appearing on camera for Reels, videos, interviews, or other content formats.

4. Social Media SEO

• Optimise content for better searchability and discoverability.
• Work on YouTube titles, descriptions, keywords, hashtags, and metadata.
• Optimise Instagram and other social media content using relevant keywords and search trends.

5. Team Coordination

• Coordinate with video editors, graphic designers, and content creators.
• Provide clear briefs, references, deadlines, and feedback.
• Review videos and creatives before publishing.
• Ensure content is delivered on time and maintains brand quality.

6. Analytics & Growth

• Track reach, engagement, views, watch time, retention, followers, and other key metrics.
• Identify top-performing and underperforming content.
• Prepare regular performance reports and suggest improvements.
• RequirementsStrong understanding of Instagram and YouTube.
• Excellent content research and ideation skills.
• Knowledge of social media algorithms, trends, and SEO.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Comfortable in front of the camera and willing to shoot content when required.
• Creative mindset with an understanding of audience psychology.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Prior experience in social media management/strategy is preferred.
