Position: Structural Design & Project Engineer

Location: Bhubaneswar, Odisha

Industry: Outdoor Advertising (OOH), Digital OOH (DOOH), Infrastructure & Media Assets

Experience: 5–10 Years

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (M.Tech in Structural Engineering preferred)

About the Company

We are a leading Outdoor Advertising (OOH) agency with exclusive advertising rights across Airports, Railway Stations, Municipal Corporations, Bus Queue Shelters, LED Digital Displays, Unipoles, Hoardings, and other premium media assets. We are seeking an experienced Structural Design & Project Engineer to manage the design, safety, execution, and maintenance of our advertising infrastructure.

Key ResponsibilitiesStructural Design

·      Design and analyze steel structures for hoardings, unipoles, gantries, LED display structures, airport media installations, railway media structures, kiosks, and other advertising assets.

·      Prepare structural calculations, design reports, and stability certificates.

·      Design RCC foundations, footings, pedestals, and pile foundations based on site conditions and soil reports.

·      Perform wind load, seismic load, and structural stability analysis as per applicable Indian Standards.

Project Execution

·      Conduct site inspections and feasibility assessments.

·      Coordinate with fabrication vendors, contractors, and installation teams.

·      Review fabrication drawings and shop drawings before execution.

·      Supervise erection, installation, and commissioning of structures.

·      Ensure compliance with approved drawings and safety standards.

Engineering & Compliance

·      Prepare and review structural drawings using engineering software.

·      Ensure compliance with IS 800, IS 875, IS 456, IS 1893, and National Building Code requirements.

·      Support statutory approvals, structural certifications, and third-party inspections.

·      Liaise with municipal authorities, airports, railways, and other government agencies for technical approvals when required.

Maintenance & Safety·      Conduct periodic structural audits of existing assets.

·      Assess structures after heavy wind, storms, or other adverse weather events.

·      Recommend repairs, strengthening measures, or replacement where necessary.

·      Maintain records of inspections, certifications, and maintenance activities.

Technical Skills Required

·      STAAD Pro

·      AutoCAD

·      ETABS / SAFE

·      MS Excel

·      Tekla Structures (Preferred)

Desired Candidate Profile

·      Strong knowledge of steel structure design and detailing.

·      Experience in foundation design and execution.

·      Knowledge of welded and bolted connection design.

·      Ability to independently handle multiple projects and site locations.

·      Experience in outdoor infrastructure, industrial structures, telecom towers, signage structures, or advertising media assets will be preferred.

·      Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
