Kitchen Assistant – All-RounderDaylife Cafe | Jatni, Bhubaneswar

Daylife Cafe, a brand of Daily Bakes & Cakes, is looking for a hardworking, sincere and responsible Kitchen Assistant to join our kitchen team.

We serve rice bowls, biryani, Indian and Chinese dishes, pasta, snacks and other cafe food. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn different food preparations and support daily kitchen operations.

• Job ResponsibilitiesAssist the chef with daily kitchen preparation and cooking.
• Prepare vegetables, sauces, gravies and other ingredients.
• Assist in preparing rice bowls, biryani, Indian and Chinese food.
• Follow recipes, portion sizes and chef instructions.
• Support food plating, packing and order dispatch.
• Wash and maintain pans, woks, utensils and kitchen equipment during service.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, hygiene and food safety.
• Arrange ingredients and assist with stock management.
• Support the team during busy hours and online food orders.
• Candidate Requirements0–2 years of kitchen experience preferred.
• Freshers with an interest in cooking can also apply.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation is an advantage.
• Must be willing to learn different cuisines and kitchen tasks.
• Should be punctual, disciplined, hardworking and responsible.
• Must be comfortable working in a small, fast-paced cafe kitchen.
