Job Description

Arbor is looking for an enthusiastic and target-oriented Admission Counsellor to join our EdTech sales team. The candidate will be responsible for counselling students and working professionals, understanding their career goals, recommending suitable courses, and converting enquiries into admissions.

• Key ResponsibilitiesConnect with prospective students through calls and other communication channels.
• Understand students’ educational background, career goals, and learning requirements.
• Provide detailed information about courses, curriculum, fees, career opportunities, and program benefits.
• Counsel and guide students to select the right course based on their career objectives.
• Follow up with leads regularly and convert qualified leads into admissions.
• Handle student queries, objections, and concerns professionally.
• Maintain accurate lead and admission records in CRM.
• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly admission and revenue targets.
• Build strong relationships with students throughout the admission process.
• Coordinate with internal teams for documentation, enrollment, and onboarding.
• Stay updated on courses, market trends, and competitor offerings.
• Required SkillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong counselling, persuasion, and convincing abilities.
• Good negotiation and objection-handling skills.
• Strong follow-up and lead-conversion skills.
• Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.
• Comfortable with calling and B2C sales.
• Basic knowledge of CRM and MS Office/Google Workspace.
• Prior experience in EdTech, Education Sales, Inside Sales, Academic Counselling, or Admission Counselling is preferred.
