Job Overview

The Loan Collection manager is responsible for managing past-due accounts, contacting delinquent borrowers, and recovering outstanding loan payments while maintaining professional customer interactions and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Outbound Recovery: Contact delinquent borrowers via phone, email, and field visits to remind them of overdue balances and secure immediate payment.
• Negotiation & Resolution: Evaluate borrower financial situations to negotiate payment plans, settlements, or restructuring within company authorization limits.
• Account Tracking: Monitor assigned debt portfolios, log customer interactions in the collections CRM, and track promises to pay (PTP).
• Field Visits: Conduct door-to-door field traces and physical visits for persistent non-responsive or high-bucket delinquent accounts.
• Compliance & Escalation: Ensure strict adherence to fair debt collection practices and debt recovery regulations; escalate fraudulent or uncollectible accounts to legal/skip-tracing teams.

Key Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Higher Secondary (10+2) or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in tele-collections, field recovery, or debt management (NBFC/Banking preferred).
• Skills: Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, assertiveness, and fluency in local languages; familiarity with collection CRM software.
