Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Door-to-door lead generation – visiting homes/businesses with high electricity bills (target areas: bungalows, commercial shops, factories, farmhouses with borewells/pump loads)
- Bill analysis & pitch – checking prospect's electricity bill on the spot, explaining potential solar savings
- Site suitability check – basic assessment of rooftop space, shadow-free area, direction
- Appointment setting – booking a technical site survey with the survey/engineering team
- Follow-up & closing support – nurturing leads through quotation stage till final agreement/booking
- Subsidy & scheme awareness – explaining PM Surya Ghar Yojana / state subsidy benefits (this is a big trust-builder in Odisha right now)
- CRM/lead reporting – daily entry of leads, status updates, follow-up reminders
- Local market mapping – identifying high-potential societies, industrial areas, agricultural zones (Odisha has strong agri-pump solar potential too)
- Competitor awareness – tracking other EPC players' pricing/offers in the area
- Coordination with technical team – handover of qualified leads to survey/design team smoothly
