Job Description
Field Sales Executive (Paytm)
Role: Field Sales Executive (FSE)
Company: Paytm / Paytm for Business
Main objective: Visit local shops and businesses and sell Paytm payment solutions, particularly EDC (Electronic Data Capture) machines and sound box.
Key Responsibilities
Visit shops, retailers, restaurants, and other businesses in an assigned area.
Find potential merchants who can use Paytm payment solutions.
Explain the benefits and features of Paytm EDC/card-payment machines.
Convince merchants to purchase/subscribe to the EDC machine and sound box.
Complete merchant onboarding and required documentation.
Help merchants with installation and basic usage.
Follow up with existing merchants and resolve basic service issues.
Achieve monthly sales targets—for example, 30 EDC machines per month as mentioned in the advertisement.
Maintain daily reports of visits, leads, sales, and installations.
Work primarily in the field, rather than from an office.
Skills Required
Good communication and convincing ability
Comfortable talking to shop owners and business customers
Basic smartphone/computer knowledge
Target-oriented attitude
Willingness to travel locally
