Job Description
NEET / JEE FACULTYRoles, Responsibilities & Professional TermsPosition: NEET/JEE Faculty – Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics / Biology
Remuneration: ₹500 per Teaching Hour
- 1. Teaching ResponsibilitiesConduct NEET/JEE classes as per the academic timetable.
- Explain concepts clearly with focus on competitive-exam requirements.
- Cover the prescribed syllabus within the planned timeline.
- Solve relevant NEET/JEE-level numerical and conceptual questions.
- Provide shortcuts, problem-solving techniques and exam strategies wherever appropriate.
- Maintain appropriate pace according to students' learning levels.
- 2. Study Material & Question PracticePrepare/recommend quality questions for classroom practice.
- Conduct regular problem-solving sessions.
- Provide homework/practice assignments where required.
- Assist in preparing chapter-wise question banks and revision materials.
- Use previous-year NEET/JEE questions for examination-oriented preparation.
- 3. Tests & EvaluationConduct chapter/unit tests as assigned.
- Prepare or contribute questions for periodic examinations.
- Evaluate assigned answer scripts within the stipulated time.
- Analyse students' performance and identify weak areas.
- Provide appropriate feedback and corrective guidance.
- 4. Student MentoringGuide students regarding preparation strategy and time management.
- Support academically weak students through additional guidance.
- Motivate students to maintain consistency and discipline.
- Track progress of assigned students where required.
- Communicate major academic concerns to the Academic Coordinator.
- 5. Academic CoordinationCoordinate with other subject faculty to maintain syllabus planning.
- Follow the institute's academic calendar and lesson plan.
- Attend academic meetings when specifically required.
- Maintain punctuality and classroom discipline.
- Inform the Academic Coordinator in advance regarding unavoidable absence.
- 6. Professional ConductFaculty must report to class on time and complete the scheduled teaching hour.
- Classes should not be cancelled or rescheduled without prior approval.
- Faculty shall maintain professional behaviour with students and staff.
- Confidential academic information, question papers and institutional materials must not be shared without permission.
- Faculty shall follow the academic policies and instructions of the institution.
7. Remuneration TermsRate: ₹500 per completed teaching hour
Payment will be calculated on the basis of actual classes conducted and duly recorded in the faculty attendance/class register.
