Position: Pharmacist
Department: Pharmacy
Employment Type: Full-Time (Both General and Shift Duty)
Location: Koida, Barbil, Keonjhar, India
Experience: 5–10 Years
Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified and responsible Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The candidate will be responsible for dispensing medicines accurately, maintaining pharmacy records, ensuring proper inventory management, and providing appropriate guidance to patients regarding medication use.
Key Responsibilities
Dispense prescription and non-prescription medicines accurately as per authorized prescriptions.
Verify prescriptions for dosage, drug interactions, allergies, and other potential concerns.
Provide patients with clear instructions regarding medication usage, dosage, and precautions.
Maintain accurate records of medicines dispensed and pharmacy transactions.
Monitor and maintain adequate stock of medicines and medical supplies.
Check medicine expiry dates, batch numbers, and storage conditions regularly.
Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines as per applicable requirements.
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals when required.
Maintain pharmacy cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety procedures.
Prepare purchase requests and assist with receiving and verifying pharmacy supplies.
Maintain proper documentation for controlled/scheduled medicines, wherever applicable.
Follow applicable pharmacy laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
Eligibility & Qualifications
B.Pharm / D.Pharm from a recognized institution.
Valid registration with the relevant State Pharmacy Council.
Good knowledge of medicines, prescriptions, and pharmaceutical practices.
Basic computer knowledge and ability to maintain pharmacy records.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work responsibly in a healthcare environment.
