Deputy Manager - Safety

To promote and maintain safe work environment, prevention of occupational health deceases, personal injuries and property damages and suggest the suitable modifications in the work environment / equipment / process to avoid the incidents/ potential hazards
Ø To develop safe work culture in the plant by identifying and eliminating the unsafe conditions and unsafe work practices.
Ø To advise the concerned departments in planning and organizing measures necessary for the effective control of personal injuries.
Ø To advise on safety aspects in all job studies, and to carry out detailed job safety studies of selected jobs.
Ø To check and evaluate the effectiveness of the action taken or proposed to be taken to prevent personal injuries
Ø To carry out plant safety inspection
Ø To carry out accident investigations and corrective and preventive actions of occupational diseases
Ø To promote setting up safety committees and act as an advisor and convener to such committees
Ø To organize safety training programmes
Ø To organize fire safety training programmes
Ø To organize internal and external safety audits in the factory to eliminate unsafe work practices and ensure safe work environment.
Ø To organize safety promotional activities
Ø To implement the permit to work system
Ø Interaction with Government Agencies to complete the Statutory Requirements

7-10 years of experience in Safety function

Diploma/B. Tech. – Mech./Auto/Elect. Or Any Post Graduation.
