Job Title: Continental Chef Department: Kitchen / Food Production Reports To: Head Chef / Executive Chef

• Job ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook continental dishes such as pasta, pizza, steaks, grilled chicken, sandwiches, soups, and salads.
• Prepare sauces, stocks, marinades, and dressings according to recipes.
• Handle grilling, sautéing, roasting, baking, and pan-frying techniques.
• Maintain food quality, taste, presentation, and portion control.
• Ensure proper food storage, hygiene, and kitchen sanitation.
• Follow food safety standards and FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.
• Monitor kitchen inventory and report shortages to the head chef.
• Coordinate with other kitchen team members to ensure timely service.
• Minimize food wastage and maintain cost control.
• Keep kitchen equipment clean and in good working condition.
• Required SkillsGood knowledge of continental cuisine and cooking techniques.
• Experience in preparing continental sauces and dishes.
• Ability to work under pressure during busy service hours.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Good teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
• Qualifications and ExperienceDiploma or certificate in culinary arts is preferred.
• Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, resort, or fine-dining kitchen is an advantage.
• Freshers with relevant culinary training may also apply.
