Sales Manager - Higher Education | Chandigarh
Sales Manager – Higher Education (CollegeConnect) Business
Role
Own & grow Higher Education (CollegeConnect) Business revenue in an assigned territory by partnering with universities & institutes that can integrate L&T EduTech’s offerings into their academic & career ecosystem — curriculum-embedded programs for students, capability building for faculty, Centres of Excellence & infrastructure for the institution & placement linkages with industry.
What you will do
- Build & convert a pipeline of universities, deemed & private universities, autonomous colleges & state institutions across disciplines where Higher Education (CollegeConnect) Business integration is possible
- Reach & close with the decision maker — VC, Director, Trustee or Owner — through round-tables, campus visits & industry events
- Position the full stakeholder proposition: outcomes for students, enablement for faculty, differentiation & rankings for management & talent access for employers
- Draft proposals (credit mapping, commercials) on the standard template & drive them to signature with the Head – Sales & SMEs
- Coordinate post-signup with Finance, SME & Delivery teams to convert order book into revenue
- Own the customer: retention, renewals, price revisions & cross-sell across the institution
- Maintain accurate CRM, forecasts & monthly reviews; flag risks to target well before crunch time
What we look for
- 6–12 years in B2B / institutional sales, with at least 3 in EdTech, higher-education or skilling solutions
- Existing relationships with university & institute leadership in the territory
- Proven record of closing ?1 Cr+ annual deals & meeting quota
- Strong proposal, negotiation & stakeholder-management skills; comfortable with frequent travel
- Graduate in any discipline; MBA a plus
